Wright Tops Table As More Than 80% Pick Up Pounds.

Peter Wright topped the final 2020 PDC Summer Series Order of Merit after his victory on Day Five in Milton Keynes.

Also the Day One runner-up to Michael van Gerwen, Wright scooped £22,000 in prize money across the five days of action as the PDC’s ranking events returned at the Marshall Arena.

Van Gerwen claimed victory on Day One and Day Three, and ended with £21,500 in prize money, while Day Four winner James Wade claimed £16,250 and Day Two champion Ryan Joyce picked up £11,000.

A place in the 2020 Grand Slam of Darts had been on offer for the eventual Summer Series Order of Merit winner, although World Champion Wright has already secured his place in November’s event.
