Over 2,000 tickets for the 2019/2020 William Hill World Darts Championship have gone back on General Sale as the PDC continues to clamp down on secondary ticket markets.
The tickets being made available have been identified as being listed on unauthorised resale websites, in contravention of the PDC’s terms and conditions of sale.
Working alongside official ticketing provider SeeTickets, the PDC has cancelled the tickets listed for resale and they have been placed back on General Sale through https://pdc.seetickets.com/tour/2019-2020-william-hill-world-darts-championship.
The move gives darts fans another opportunity to secure their place at the 2019/2020 William Hill World Championship, which has seen an unprecedented demand for tickets, with over 75,000 tickets purchased in the first week of sale in July.
“This news highlights the PDC’s continued commitment to ensuring tickets end up in the hands of genuine darts fans,” said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.
“Once again, SeeTickets have helped us clamp down on secondary ticket sales to ensure the William Hill World Darts Championship will be seen by as many genuine fans as possible.”
SeeTickets also offer an ethical resale website for fans who have tickets for this year’s event which genuinely cannot be used. To visit the Fan-To Fan resale website, visit https://pdc.seetickets.com/content/fan-to-fan
